Listen using a memory stick
You can become a Chatterbox listener if you are visually impaired or blind. We send publications to listeners anywhere in the UK.
As a listener you will receive regular audio publications on a memory stick. We will also lend you a player to use with the sticks. This service is provided free of charge including postage which is covered under "Articles for the Blind" by Royal Mail.
You will receive memory sticks in a plastic wallet addressed to you. You can remove the stick by pulling apart the Velcro seal at one end. The memory stick is then twisted open and inserted into the USB slot on the player and the recording starts automatically. There is a small tactile pad on the front side of the stick to help you correctly plug the stick into the USB socket.
When you have finished listening to the recording you simply put the memory stick back into the wallet and seal the Velcro. Then remove, turn over, and reinsert the address label, which shows the Chatterbox return address and post the wallet back to us.
