It will use the information that we collect about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
WHO WE ARE
Chatterbox, the Norwich Talking Newspaper is a charity which produces and distributes recordings to visually impaired listeners. The audio recording contains items of local news taken from the Norwich Evening News and is supplied on a USB memory stick. The service is entirely free and delivered both ways, without charge, by Royal Mail. Where listeners are unable to provide their own means of playing the recording, Chatterbox supplies, on free loan, a USB memory stick player.
In addition to local news, there are general interest features. Listeners also receive a monthly recording of a selection of features from Norfolk Magazine, recordings from Just Talk Magazine, a quarterly magazine recording of Chataround and regular recordings from Chris Skinner at High Ash Farm.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ?
In order for you as a listener to receive the recordings Chatterbox will need to collect and securely store your full name, postal address and telephone number. Your name and address are required to send the recordings to you and your telephone number is needed so that Chatterbox can contact you if there is a problem.
GDPR regulations provide for the removal of contact details, on request of the individual, in accordance with GDPR Article 17.
